Having a Loverly Time

Guess who I've been drawing a lot of recently?

I really, really like this picture. I love how everything turned out, including Timpani, who I usually dread trying to draw Paper Mario style. She still doesn't look exactly like one of the little characters, but I like this one a lot more than my previous attempt.

The only thing I don't like are the stars in his cape. But I'm too fed up with it to try again, and it really doesn't look THAT bad...

It's funny. In a way this picture kind of reminds me of Journey, except I like this one more.
Ahhhhhhh I love them! They are like, the best video-game couple ever or something.
