It's just been a long time since I've made a journal entry. I feel like they're getting further and further away from each other, haha.
I'm getting ready to start school in September, which is pretty exciting. How've all of you been? How've your summers been going? Or winters, if you're in Australia?

hi hello long time no see how is everyone? does anybody even still follow me here? do people even still use this site, like is it even worth being active on anymore? Might possibly maybe try to post art here again, not sure. Most of what I make right now is sketchdumps and there's not a great way to post those here aside from combining them all into one big canvas, I suppose. If anyone is reading this and I'm not just shouting into a void, would y'all be interested in that? Also yes, I DID finally change my icon after not changing it for (checks notes) fifteen years. People used to tell me, pretty often, that it was not epilepsy-friendly and I just didn't care because I was a dumbass, and then I stopped using DA enough to really think about it, but now that I'm logged in and poking around I figured I should, finally, actually do something to make it less of an epilepsy risk and general eye-strain, and this is the icon I've been using pretty much everywhere else. 2018 Stuff!
Hey friends! Hope you all had happy holidays and a good new year! I made a total of ONE (1) journal entry last year lol, let's see what happens this year.
I FINALLY graduated college in December (WHOO) so I'm officially the owner of a shiny new BA in Art & Design! And a heck of a lot more free time, for the moment! And several thousand dollars of student debt! It feels so good tbh. The last few weeks were Absolute Chaos
I've been a complete lazy hermit the past couple of weeks but I'm starting to feel like an Actual Person again. Ready to start on projects and make some money and be my own person again for the first time in four years,

Last journal was full of holiday greetings, and I said I'd probably forget to update my journal for six months, and look at that - I did!
I have one more semester left of school and then I'll be an Official Artist with a bachelor's degree and everything! Wow!!! I also turn 26 this year and that's Wild.
I still have no real idea who even reads these anymore, if anyone.
In January I got a Cintiq, which is my baby and I love it very much <3
I start an internship at a hardware store (!) this month and I'm quite excited about it, should be super informative

I feel almost jealous (in a good way) - if I could go to college again, I'd be sure to make some things differently than I actually did 
It's the most nutritious and fertile time of your art life - beacause you can dedicate your self to art properly and you'll learn tons of things in a short period of time -you'll be like a SPONGE! be sure to use it all and enjoy it to the fullest!! 
I'm ending college next year completely.... I feel sad now (Peter Pan syndrome XD)
And I'm working on a graduand animation.... hope I can make it somehow
